Description:
Working remotely is becoming the norm in most organizations. Are you equipped with the right skills to work remotely in your agile team?
This workshop is based on the work of Collaboration Superpowers. It consists of four 90 minute, interactive online sessions where you will get to touch base with all your remote work challenges and will learn how to create high performing remote agile teams.
Most online workshops will encourage you to replicating the office environment. Not this one. In this workshop, you will learn about the behaviors that prevent people from being productive in the workplace and will practice how not to fall into the trap of replicating those. You will learn that unlearning the old habit of engaging in video calls all day long and learning modern ways of working remotely is the way to creating effective communication and agility.
This workshop will help you learn the foundations that you to learn to work online with others in order to have connection, camaraderie and effective communication just as the good old agile manifesto suggested.
Why you should attend?
At the end of the workshop, you’ll be equipped with practical skills that you can apply in your team right away. And you will be on your way to having a proactive approach to creating an aligned distributed agile team who truly feel and work as a team together. At the end of this workshop, you will have experienced first hand how remote work doesn’t have to feel challenging or isolating, but rather productive, effective, connected, driven, and fun.
You will leave the workshop with ideas and skills to:
- Avoid miscommunications and improve transparency
- Increase camaraderie
- Run problem free meetings where everyone contributes
- Inspire continuous improvement
Most importantly, you will join a network of like minded people many of whom are all in the same situation as you and together, you can all share and learn together.
Who should attend?
- Managers and (agile) coaches working with remote colleagues
- People with an experimental mindset and a willingness to try new things
- Team members who are enthusiastic about improving productivity and day to day communication with their remote colleagues
- And anyone who is curious about what to do to feel like a team when people do not work from the same room
